ENTRY RESTRICTION for Foreigner to be extended until 28th Jan 2021

Indonesian Government has extended the entry restriction for foreigners (baca: WNA) until 28th January 2021.

Immigration has posted this update through their soc-med account however We are still waiting for circular letter or formal notification on this issue.

We believe there will still the exemption for KITAS and KITAP holders; but let’s wait for the circular letter in order to be sure.

As per the first implementation (1-14th Jan 2021), we found out the following practice, which is in accordance with the term and condition as referred to in the circular letter:

 

1. All visitors should be able to show a negative PCR test result which to be taken within 2x24hours from the departure date

 

2. Re-taking PCR test Upon the arrival, with the following term:

a) if resulted negative, the individual must stay in quarantine at the appointed hotels for 5 days (test and hotel under own cost)

b) if resulted positive, cosequently shall be send to Hospital for furhter treatment (medical cost under own expense)

 

3. After 5 days quarantine as referred to in Point 2 part a  above, the person shall take another PCR test with the condition asf:

a) If the test resulted negative, he can continue the trip/mission

b) if resulted positive, the person will be sent to Hospital for further medical treatment (under his own cost)

 

Please note: There is list of the recommended hotels which you may get from the KKP person nearby.
